We’ll look to you for:

  • Designing, developing, and managing training deliverables, including documentation and records.

  • Delivering theoretical and practical training at the Services Academy, customer sites, or virtually.

  • Managing training processes in projects and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Forecasting and planning workload and staffing for training activities.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure training success.

  • Providing inputs for tenders as part of the Services Academy work package.

  • Developing and implementing induction training programs and team competency development plans.

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience or understanding of rolling stock systems, subsystems, and maintenance activities.

  • Knowledge of system design, functional descriptions, and maintenance planning.

  • Familiarity with instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE, and training tools like audio, video, and animation software.

  • A certification in Training and Development Activities (desirable).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications and SharePoint for document management and collaboration.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from monotonous routines.

  • Work with cutting-edge technologies and new standards for rail signalling and operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues.

  • Contribute to innovative and impactful projects that shape the future of mobility.

  • Utilise our dynamic and inclusive working environment.

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.

  • Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning programs.

  • Progress towards leadership or technical expert roles.

  • Enjoy a fair and competitive reward package, including comprehensive social coverage (life, medical, pension).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
