Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates. As Technical Trainer, you are responsible to support the Integrated Services Readiness team on all their technical training activities.This role involves creating and delivering training programs through various methods (workshops, online/class courses) covering more specifically Railway Signaling and Operations.
You'll play a key role in creating and delivering training programs that empower teams with the knowledge and skills to excel in railway signaling and operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including co-workers, external suppliers, and management), ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, and adapt training schedules to meet the needs of various sites across the U.S.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and revising high-quality courseware materials and delivering training on different types of trains such as commuters, subways, and locomotives. Additionally, you’ll supervise and evaluate training delivered by external suppliers and maintain accurate training documentation and records.
We’ll look to you for:
Developing and revising courseware material of high quality, following departmental procedures and initiatives
Delivering training in compliance with contractual technical specifications in a timely manner according to the training schedule(s)
Supervising and evaluating training delivered by external suppliers
Maintaining training documentation and records
Analyzing the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and tests to ensure learning objectives are met
Identifying improvements in training (quality, delivery) and implementing changes
