What impact you’ll make

The Training Specialist supports the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of technical training for employees. This role provides operational support across training scheduling, student enrollment, participant logistics, training systems, and day-to-day activities associated with course delivery.

The position works closely with instructors, training leadership, students, customers, and supporting functions to ensure training activities are properly scheduled, participants are enrolled and supported, and the necessary logistical arrangements are in place. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and adjust activities based on changing training and operational requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Support field services training activities for employees, helping ensure the effective coordination and delivery of technical training programs.
  • Coordinate training schedules, including creation and maintenance of classes, instructor assignments, classroom scheduling, facility usage, and other scheduling requirements.
  • Manage student enrollment activities, including registrations, withdrawals, training system administration, course credits, and other enrollment-related processes.
  • Coordinate participant logistics associated with training, including lodging, transportation, catering, site access, and other student or customer requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for students and training participants, supporting the learner experience from enrollment through course completion.
  • Support course administration and closeout activities, including training records, surveys, certificates, EHS completions, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate with instructors, training leadership, security, sourcing, vendors, facilities, and other supporting functions to enable successful course delivery.
  • Support training facility and operational logistics, including classroom and facility scheduling, supplies, inventory, site activities, and training events.
  • Maintain and update training information across applicable scheduling, learning, and business systems.
  • Support training-related reporting, financial administration, purchase orders, and other operational processes as required.
  • Develop an understanding of training operations and key business processes and use this knowledge to effectively prioritize and execute assigned responsibilities.
  • Resolve routine scheduling, enrollment, and logistical issues within established processes and escalate more complex issues as appropriate.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams, instructors, students, and other stakeholders.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a High School Diploma / GED and
    a minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience in training administration, training coordination, scheduling, enrollment, logistics, operations, or a related professional support role. Training operations experience preferred.

  • Experience working with scheduling, learning management, procurement, or other business systems is preferred.
  • Experience with or working knowledge of tools and systems such as ServiceMax, Smartsheet, Ariba, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Outlook, and other scheduling or training administration platforms is preferred.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,400.00 and $108,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
