The Services Professional is responsible for delivering technical support and operational expertise for refinery chemical treatment programs. This role focuses on monitoring and optimizing chemical applications, troubleshooting process-related challenges, and providing field-based technical solutions that improve operational efficiency, asset reliability, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with customers, laboratory teams, operations personnel, and commercial stakeholders, the position plays a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of refinery chemical solutions.

As a Services Professional, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and optimizing refinery chemical treatment programs to maximize operational effectiveness and process efficiency.
• Conducting field visits, technical inspections, and site assessments to evaluate chemical treatment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshooting production and chemical-related issues through structured root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Performing laboratory testing and chemical analyses to support operational decision-making and treatment optimization.
• Preparing technical reports, performance evaluations, and treatment recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Providing customers with technical guidance and chemical recommendations to improve refinery performance and reliability.
• Collaborating with refinery operations, laboratory, and sales teams to develop and implement effective chemical treatment solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with company, customer, safety, health, and environmental regulations across all operational activities.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing chemical program performance and operational excellence.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas production chemicals, water treatment chemicals, or refinery chemical programs.
• Demonstrate experience working with refinery operations; this is preferred.
• Possess knowledge of chemical dosing systems, treatment optimization, and refinery chemical application practices.
• Have experience in laboratory testing, chemical analysis, and interpretation of technical results.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Possess a solid understanding of refinery production systems, process equipment, and operational requirements.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Be comfortable working directly with customers and providing technical support and recommendations.
• Show strong project management, collaboration, and teamwork capabilities.
• Have the ability to work independently and effectively in remote field environments.
