Services Portfolio Strategy & Design Lead

About the Role

This role defines and drives the vision, methodologies, standards, and governance for service offering design across Hyland's services portfolio. As the enterprise subject matter expert for service design, you will influence strategy, commercial models, and portfolio architecture. Operating with broad autonomy, you'll independently establish objectives, develop frameworks, and drive cross-functional adoption to improve customer outcomes, portfolio scalability, growth, and operational efficiency.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

• Define and own the enterprise service offering design framework, taxonomy, and schema — including categories, scope, deliverables, pricing constructs, customer outcomes, value definitions, delivery models, and operational considerations.
• Lead the design of highly strategic, complex, and transformational service offerings, ensuring services are differentiated, scalable, repeatable, operationally viable, and aligned to portfolio strategy.
• Drive innovation in service design, including AI-enabled services, autonomous service experiences, outcome-based models, consumption and subscription offerings, modular architectures, and integrated product-and-services solutions.
• Partner with Finance and business leaders to define pricing design standards, value frameworks, monetization approaches, governance guardrails, and profitability objectives.
• Collaborate with Service Portfolio Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Customer Success to align service designs with market demand and business strategy.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Service Portfolio Managers and cross-functional stakeholders; provide leadership with informed perspectives on organizational service design capabilities and readiness.

• Extensive experience in service portfolio management, service design, product management, or a related strategic discipline.
• Demonstrated success defining enterprise-level strategies, frameworks, and standards that drive broad organizational adoption and measurable business outcomes.
• Deep expertise in service design methodologies, outcome-based offerings, portfolio strategy, and commercialization approaches.
• Advanced knowledge of pricing, packaging, monetization, profitability analysis, and customer value frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive influence skills, with a proven ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with consumption-based, subscription-based, or modular service architectures and go-to-market commercialization strategies.
• Strong analytical, systems thinking, and strategic problem-solving capabilities applied to complex portfolio challenges.
• Track record of thought leadership — including knowledge sharing, industry best practice promotion, and contributions that elevate team and organizational capability.
• Experience mentoring or developing portfolio or product management professionals in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
