Job Description

Services Lead - Supplier Operations and Assurance, sits within our Services division. The role is instrumental in managing the performance of key supplier partners at Heathrow and ensuring standards, KPIs and SLA’s are met and that the service standards in the operation are met.

Candidates need to be strong communicators, be able to effectively convey business requirements and push for adherence to standards and services.

This is also a contract management role, candidates should be comfortable with leading on discussions and comfortable with data. A key aspect of this role is also to be the interface between our Service Partners and Procurement.

  • Maintain clear governance of supplier performance across cost and other financial governance, compliance against SLAs, risk, opportunities realisation and H&S.
  • Primary contact for supplier queries, you will seek assistance from the operation, procurement and finance when required and be responsible for meeting financial governance
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance through the accurate reporting of all supplier SLA, KPI’s and monthly contractual performance metrics. Using an analytical, data driven approach to performance you will work collaboratively with your Terminal, Transport & Passenger Logistics colleagues, identifying any failings and ensure all issues acted upon
  • Responsible for the overall assessment of all Services contracts to ensure we ‘get what we pay for, that it’s the best value for money, and the service is fit for purpose’. Provide information to the Services Manager – Solutions Implementation
  • Work with the business to create a culture that delivers cost savings to current cost base whilst maintaining or improving service performance
  • Strong background in supplier managements and procurement. Working in all cycles of the supplier relationship from contract scoping and mobilisation to supplier management and decommissioning and off-boarding
  • Comfortable with data and presenting reports in a meaningful way
  • Effective stakeholder management-ability to work with integrity and build trust with all key stakeholders
  • Demonstrable background in driving commercial best practice and knowledge of procurement

Working Location

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of HeathrowWorking arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
