Job Description

Are you a relationship builder who thrives at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational excellence? This role puts you at the center of GE Vernova’s customer relationships in the power generation sector – owning the full account experience, from daily operations through to long-term growth strategy.
As a Senior Services Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key customer accounts, responsible for delivering safe, high-quality outage and maintenance services while identifying and closing new business opportunities. You will also lead a designated Key Account relationship at the headquarters level, shaping the strategic direction of that partnership and coordinating across business functions to bring it to life.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant commercial and operational scope, suited to someone who is equally comfortable in a customer boardroom and on a plant floor.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own your customer accounts end-to-end – serve as the primary contact, manage day-to-day relationships, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of outage and maintenance services including parts, repairs, and call-outs.
  • Drive commercial growth – identify, propose, negotiate and close service opportunities across your account portfolio, managing the full profit and loss (P&L), including contribution margin and operating profit.
  • Lead Key Account strategy – develop and execute business growth plants for your designated Key Account, engaging at the headquarters level on policy and strategic decisions to expand the services portfolio
  • Deliver operational excellence – lead performance against outage, safety, quality, cycle time and cost metrics, applying rigorous daily management and standard work practices.
  • Stay close to the market – maintain regular customer contact to understand plant operational challenges and intentions, while monitoring the competitive landscape to sharpen account strategy.
  • Collaborate across functions – partner with internal teams in commercial, operations, finance, technical disciplines to fulfill customer commitments and execute growth plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in sales, services, or customer account management within the power generation industry.
  • Proven track record delivering financial results, including ownership of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a full service cycle – from opportunity identification through to outage execution and customer sign-off.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly in Taiwan.

Preferred

  • Experience managing strategic or headquarter-level customer relationships.
  • Background in project or program management within a services or field operations environment.
  • Proficiency in the local language(s) of the countries covered by your account portfolio.
