We are seeking talented and motivated Interns to join our dynamic team in Mauritius. The Consultant role provides solutions for the existing HCM client base. This role is responsible for scoping, documenting, developing, testing, and reporting projects for a variety of HCM modules. Students will have the opportunity to be part of 3 different processes within Services, experiencing a variety of skills, such as SQL, XML, basic programming and consultancy.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team to scope, document, configure and test Dayforce core modules.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering successful completion of assignments.
• Build documentation: Services Requirement Specifications (SRS), testing document, Production Change Requests (PCR).
• Assist in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting of configuration issues to ensure smooth functionality.
• Demonstrates agility by efficiently problem-solving issues throughout the project.
• Delivers technical solutions on time and in budget to meet customer expectations.
• Support the team in the implementation of best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to contribute fresh ideas to ongoing projects.

Qualifications:
• Year 2 Semester 2 students - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Working knowledge of modern relational databases architecture and SQL language through professional or academic projects
• Passion for solving hard problems and knows how to have fun!
