The Cementing Engineering role supports the execution and optimization of pressure pumping cementing operations byprovidingtechnical guidance, engineering analysis, and operational support. This role contributes to high-quality job delivery, process improvement, and problem-solving across cementing applications, helping ensure operational excellence and customer success.

As theTechnical SupportEngineer, youwill have the following responsibilities:

  • Engineer and design cementing programs for exploration, development, and workover wells, ensuring technical accuracy, operational feasibility, and alignment with customer requirements.

  • Provide technical support for pressure pumping cementing operations, including job planning, execution support, post-job evaluation, and troubleshooting to drive safe and high-quality service delivery.

  • Utilize cementing engineering software and design tools to develop, simulate,validate, and optimize cementing job designs, including slurry placement, displacement efficiency, hydraulics, and operational parameters.

  • Perform technical design reviews, calculations, and data analysis to ensure cementing programs are technically sound, compliant with standards, andoptimizedfor safe and reliable well construction performance.

  • Lead and support field operation teams to execute cementing jobs safely, meet quality and compliance standards, and deliver excellent service performance at the wellsite.

  • Coordinate andmonitormultiple cementing operations across parallel rig projects, ensuring operational plans are implemented in line with approved programs, schedules, and customer expectations.

  • Develop and implement corrective action plans, preventive strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cementing service quality, product reliability, and operational efficiency.

  • Act as a key technical focal point for customer cementing operations, partnering with account management and operations teams tomaintainstrong customer relationships and support service excellence.

To be successful in this role,you will:

  • Have abachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Have solid experience in cementing engineering, pressure pumping operations, or well construction services, with strong exposure to field execution and technical support.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of cementing design, slurry systems, displacement practices, hydraulics, wellbore conditions, and job execution requirements.

  • Be proficient in using cementing engineering software, job design tools, simulation platforms, and data analysis applications to support technical decision-making.

  • Have the ability toreview,validate, and optimize cementing programs, calculations, and operational parameters to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient job delivery.

  • Show strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills to support field operations and drive continuous improvement.

  • Be able to work effectively with field crews, operations leaders, customers, sales, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
