Our Drilling and Completion Fluids team operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector.

We are seeking a skilled Lab Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities include performing lab test, managing yearly maintenance plans, financial and commercial parameters, and ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction.

As a Lab Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Familiarize and conduct lab test accordance to Drilling & Completion Fluids API Standard and SOP.
  • Perform product QAQC, witness testing and project/technical support
  • Managing chemical and equipment inventories.
  • Manage equipment calibration for the lab and rig/offshore/operation
  • Ensuring timely manner result update and reporting
  • Ensuring adherence to contract specifications and financial/technical metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Services). Preferred Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering

  • Have a bachelor's or equivalent experience and significant experience (> 10 years)
  • Must have good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be adaptable to dynamic contract requirements and cultural differences.
  • Have lab work experience ( QAQC experience is preferred)
