Position
Pacific Office Automation is looking for a Services Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced and growing IT department at our headquarters in Beaverton, OR!
Our ideal candidate will be energetic, flexible, have experience with problem-solving and have the ability to meet urgent deadlines while maintaining accuracy. This is a professional office atmosphere where teamwork is a must.
The Administrative Assistant serves as technical and administrative support to the Services Contract Admin Manager. They will also be expected to assist with managing several other key departmental tasks and projects.
Job Responsibilities:
• HR responsibilities specific to our IT department such as: Setup and prepare new hire packets, schedule initial interviews, update contact information and seating charts.
• Payroll responsibilities specific to our IT department such as: Collect and organize timesheets, submit reimbursement, expense and mileage forms, check requests, PTO submissions, and update PTO Calendar.
• Other duties: Internal inventory control, greeter/receptionist for guests and those outside the department, event planning, assist with reporting for all of POA, and assist with meeting minutes and action items.
Qualifications:
• Experience with MS-Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Some experience coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating projects and activities is a plus.
• Previous experience working with IT teams and understanding of technical language is a plus.
