Engines & Power Systems provides the propulsion, auxiliary power and electrical systems that keep aircraft flying. With engines across roughly 120 aircraft types and more than 47,000 APUs in service today, we support operators across commercial and defense markets — backed by an aftermarket network built for the long service life of every platform we power.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of aero engine hardware against quality requirements in accordance with respective approved manuals and repair documents on various APU models that site has the capabilities for.
  • Establish correct serviceability of inspected aero hardware through disposition or entry of parts defect condition if within or out-of-tolerance; and the respective repairs needed to be called out.
  • Review and interpret technical manuals, engineering dispositions, repair procedures, and customer requirements to support inspection activities.
  • Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality per site annual assigned individual goals.
  • Support Engineers and Planners for parts review and product repair capabilities within and outside the cell.
  • Perform TPM management of inspection tool/gauge/equipment calibration.
  • Perform 5S, housekeeping duties and secondary duties within the cell.
  • Cross functional support and training to other department within the company and any other duties as assigned.
  • May require shift work, or flexible scheduling base on operational needs.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Must have at least a NTC Aerospace Technology/ Engineering certificate or higher.
  • Must have 2-5 years inspector experience in Aerospace Industry
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair documentation in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently after going through on the job training.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willing to work OT (with OT pay)
