Job Description

Milestone Technologies is actively seeking a full-time ServiceNow Technical Consultant with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on platform experience to design, develop, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in at least one primary platform domain, hold relevant CIS certification, and demonstrate experience contributing to at least one enterprise-grade implementation or deployment

This role requires strong platform engineering discipline, adherence to ServiceNow best practices (CMDB integrity, upgrade safety, scoped app architecture), and the ability to collaborate across functional and technical stakeholders.

Please note that successful candidates will need to be based in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years hands-on ServiceNow development/implementation experience
• Demonstrated contribution to at least one end-to-end ServiceNow deployment (greenfield or major expansion)
• Practical experience in at least one primary ServiceNow domain, such as:
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
  • SecOps / IRM / GRC

Certifications (Mandatory)

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• At least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in chosen domain (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-CSM)

Technical Skill Requirements

Core Platform Engineering

• Strong proficiency in:
  • Server-side scripting Business Rules, Script Includes, Glide APIs
  • Client-side scripting Client Scripts, UI Policies
  • Flow Designer / IntegrationHub
  • Experience designing scoped applications with upgrade-safe patterns
  • Knowledge of ACLs, data security, and access governance

Integration & Automation

• REST/SOAP integrations (inbound/outbound)
• Experience with:
  • MID Server (especially for ITOM candidates)
  • Data ingestion and transformation (Import Sets, Transform Maps)
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures and orchestration

Data & CMDB Discipline

• Familiarity with:
  • CMDB design principles (CI class models, relationships)
  • Data reconciliation and normalization concepts
  • Experience supporting data quality and governance processes

UI/UX & Frameworks

• Service Portal or UI Builder experience
• Basic AngularJS (legacy portal) or modern UI frameworks (for UI Builder)
• Understanding of workspace configuration

Implementation & Delivery

• Experience working within:
  • Agile/Scrum delivery models
  • Story-based development and backlog grooming

• Ability to:

  • Interpret functional requirements into technical designs

  • Produce technical documentation (HLD/LLD)
