We are looking for a ServiceNow SPM, PPM, CWM professional with 2–4 years of experience to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, Project Portfolio Management, and Collaborative Work Management capabilities. The candidate should have hands-on exposure to demand management, project management, portfolio planning, resource management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination within the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
Support configuration and administration of ServiceNow SPM, PPM, and CWM capabilities - Strategic Portfolio Management, Project Portfolio Management, Collaborative Work Management, including the Intake, Demand, and Capacity management processes, workflows, reporting, and other related functionalities.
Assistin gathering business requirements from stakeholders and translating them into functional ServiceNow configurations.
Configure forms, fields, workflows, approvals, notifications, dashboards, and reports based on business needs.
Support project intake, demand assessment, project tracking, status reporting, resource planning, and portfolio visibility processes.
Collaborate with functional teams, business users, developers, and platform administrators to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Participate in testing activities, including test case preparation, user acceptance testing support, defect tracking, and validation of fixes.
Maintain documentation for requirements, configurations, process flows, user guides, and support procedures.
Provide day-to-day support for ServiceNow PPM/SPM users, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and training support.
Ensure configurations follow ServiceNow best practices, platform governance standards, and maintainability guidelines.
Required Skills and Experience
2–4 years of overall experience working with ServiceNow, preferably with exposure to SPM, PPM, CWM related portfolio, project, and capacity planning and management capabilities.
Hands-on understanding of ServiceNow platform basics, including tables, forms, lists, workflows, roles, groups, notifications, and reports.
Working knowledge of PPM/SPM concepts such as demand intake, project lifecycle, portfolio planning, resource planning, financial tracking, and status reporting.
Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into clear functional specifications or configuration tasks.
Experience supporting dashboards, reports, performance analytics, or portfolio-level visibility is preferred.
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, ora relateddiscipline.
Equivalent professional experience in ServiceNow administration, project management systems, or enterprise workflow platforms may be considered.
Understanding ofIT service management, project portfolio management, and enterprise delivery governance is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good to haveCertifications or Training
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management / Project Portfolio Management training.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) certification is strongly preferred; candidates who have completed the required learning path or are actively pursuing certification may also be considered.
Training in ServiceNow SPM Fundamentals and ServiceNow SPM Implementation is preferred.
Agile/Scrum certification or training, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, orSAFe, is an added advantage.
Projectmanagementcertification or training, such asPMI -CertifiedAssociate in Project Management(CAPM), isan added advantage.
Preferred Capabilities
Exposure to ServiceNow integrations, Flow Designer, basic scripting, or data imports.
Experience working with project managers, PMO teams, portfolio managers, or delivery governance teams.
Knowledge of reporting metrics such as project health, demand pipeline, portfolio performance, resourceutilization, and milestone tracking.
Ability to support process improvement initiatives and adoption of standardized project and portfolio management practices.
Good to Have / Rare Skills
Exposure to ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Advanced Work Assignment, or Predictive Intelligence for portfolio and demand insights.
Basic knowledge of ServiceNowIntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server concepts, or external system integrations with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project.
Familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine Studio, custom scoped applications, UI Builder, Workspace configuration, or Now Experience components.
Understanding ofportfolio financial planning, benefit realization tracking, scenario planning, or strategic roadmap management within ServiceNow SPM.
Awareness of AI-enabled capabilities in ServiceNow, including Now Assist, automation recommendations, or AI-driven work prioritization.
