The ServiceNowJrDeveloper will be part of an agile team of BSAs, Sys Admin, Designer and Developers,building outand/or supporting the implementation of OOB Modules,custom applications, 3rdparty integrationsand Automated Testing Framework (ATF) capabilitieswithin ServiceNowSuccessful candidates will be able to think critically insolving mission criticalissues, supporting end to end development of bothfront-end andback-end development including workflow and customplug-ins.TheJrDeveloperwill be playing a key role inourteamby performinga mix ofBSA work and development work The successful candidate

What will you do?

• Activelyparticipatein agile daily scrums,updating stories daily inJIRA/SNOW,documenting development progress and collaborating across platform teams

• Create, takeownershipandupdateworktickets

• Support in the development ofautomated testing scriptsor the updating of existing scripts asrequired

• Support andparticipatein customer requirement workshops, working with product owner/stakeholders to configure/developrequested items and tasks

• Work with project teams to understand business/system requirements and solution designs and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

• Develop/ enhanceapplications (scoped and out of the box) working with ServiceNow Studiofor NOW Mobile

• Design, create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.

• Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal)

• Create andmaintaindesign documentation

What will you need to succeed?

• Experience in ServiceNow configuration for low/no-code solutions

• High level understanding of ServiceNow workflows

• Experience with HTML5, JAVA, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Angular.js

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
