Position Title: ServiceNow HRSD Developer
Reports to:
Head of PX Operations Service Excellence
Location: Pune, India

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Developer to design, build, and continuously improve employee‑centric HR solutions on the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will partner closely with our HR and IT teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and compliant HR services across the employee lifecycle.

You will play a key role in translating HR requirements into robust technical solutions that improve employee experience, operational efficiency, and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow HRSD solutions, including:
    • Lifecycle Events
    • HR Case Management
    • Employee Service Center / HR Portal
    • HR Knowledge Management
  • Customize and extend ServiceNow using:
    • Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies
    • Flow Designer and Workflow
    • Script Includes and REST integrations
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Integrate HRSD with other ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM, CSM) and external HR systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and data privacy requirements
  • Support testing, deployment, and release management across environments
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing platform support
  • Contribute to platform roadmap discussions and continuous improvement initiatives

What you bring

  • 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience
  • Strong experience specifically with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
  • Solid knowledge of:
    • JavaScript (server‑side and client‑side)
    • ServiceNow scripting and configuration
    • Flow Designer and Workflow
  • Experience working with HR processes and employee lifecycle concepts
  • Understanding of integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Benefit if experienced in:
      • Document generation
      • Signature integrations
      • Reporting & analytics in ServiceNow
      • Now Assist
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g. CSA, HRSD Implementation Specialist, CAD)
  • Experience with Employee Experience (EX), Virtual Agent, or Service Portal
  • Exposure to global HR processes and data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR)
  • Experience in large, complex enterprise environments
