We are seeking a hands-on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow HAM Pro from a business and process perspective. This role will drive end-to-end HAM Pro enablement, including plugin installation oversight, integration with upstream and downstream systems, governance design, and ongoing lifecycle optimization.
The consultant will work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and risk stakeholders to streamline hardware asset processes, establish preventative and detective controls, and ensure alignment with audit and compliance requirements.
Hourly Rate: $56.90 T4, $65 Incorporated
Hybrid: 2 days in office in Scarborough, with Wednesday as a mandatory in office day (9-5pm flexible)
Contract: 6 months starting May 1, 2026 (potential to start earlier)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the end-to-end business implementation of ServiceNow HAM Pro (design through hypercare).
Assess and analyze the impact of HAM Pro on existing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM).
Review and streamline current hardware asset processes and workflows.
Design and implement optimized processes leveraging HAM Pro capabilities.
Configure and build dashboards, reports, and KPIs within ServiceNow.
Lead and execute hardware asset reconciliations across multiple asset classes.
Oversee integration with discovery and scanning tools (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, Intune, Qualys).
Enable integrations with procurement and/or finance systems (e.g., Coupa).
Define lifecycle processes from procurement through disposal.
Develop governance frameworks including RACI models, SOPs, and audit-aligned controls.
Deliver documentation, training materials, and stakeholder enablement sessions.
Establish measurable KPIs and reporting to monitor compliance and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Led the business implementation and enablement of ServiceNow HAM Pro in an enterprise environment.
Delivered at least one full end-to-end HAM Pro implementation (design → build → test → deploy → hypercare).
Deep expertise in HAM Pro tables, data model, normalization, workflows, and reporting.
Strong understanding of HAM Pro impact across other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM).
Experience with discovery and scanning tools (ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, Intune, Qualys).
Experience integrating HAM with procurement or finance systems.
Hands-on experience managing multiple hardware asset classes (servers, network devices, end-user devices).
Strong knowledge of the full hardware asset lifecycle (order to disposal).
Proven process design experience aligned to audit and compliance standards.
Strong documentation, training, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with KPI-driven performance tracking.
Experience working in a regulated environment is an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
ServiceNow HAM or related certification.
