About the role
The role involves developing workflows, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining platform stability while supporting incident, problem, request, change config, asset and other service management processes. It also requires close collaboration with internal DXC and external stakeholders.

Daily challenges

  • Ensure the maintenance of a multi-tenant service management blueprint from both operational and engineering perspectives.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving in software development, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Handle tickets from low to minor priority and deliver timely technical support to resolve user issues and maintain system stability.
  • Debug and resolve complex production issues, working closely with senior engineers.
  • Assist senior engineers with data imports, exports, and transformations across Service Management Platforms while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, researching and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the team expertise with sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Assist in creating technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and work as part of an adaptive DevOps team to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Support business continuity through shift coverage and on-call rotations, ensuring timely response to high-priority incidents and maintaining system availability.

e Xperience and skills required

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 1+ year of exposure and experience with any of the following platforms: Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy, Halo or other Service Management applications
  • Knowledge in the following product areas is must: Incident, Change, Problem, Service Requests
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good team collaboration and communication abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to challenging technical tasks
  • Preferred certification: ITIL v4 foundation, ServiceNow CSA. Any Micro-Certifications will be considered as advantage
  • Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies is considered as advantage
