Job Description

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on assigned user stories, including design, development, testing, and deployment of features primarily within the SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module.
  • Build and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of developed functionalities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Engage with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and clarify use cases.
  • Demonstrate completed features and solutions to users and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to development efforts using JavaScript (ServiceNow)

COMPETENCIES

Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer (ITSM)
  • 2+ years of experience in JavaScript within ServiceNow.
  • 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments, using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Good communication skills

Complementary Competencies (Nice-to-have)

  • Software Development background or experience
  • Experience with GitLab or similar version control and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with DevOps practices
  • Experience in Testing, or ATF (Automated Testing Framework)
  • Interest in learning network technologies and processes.
  • Exposure to telecommunications domain or network-related systems.
  • Proactive and curious mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work consistently, meet deadlines, and actively engage with the team daily.
