We are seeking a Mid-level ServiceNow Developer to execute module configuration, Service Catalog build and workflow implementation under architectural direction. The role works alongside the Lead Developer to deliver core ITSM, CMDB and ITAM configuration across both programme phases.
Key Responsibilities
Execute configuration of ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request and Knowledge Management
Build Service Catalog items and associated fulfilment workflows to defined specifications
Configure CMDB class extensions, attributes and relationship mappings under architectural guidance
Implement Hardware Asset Management workflows and lifecycle state transitions
Develop forms, views, notifications and SLA definitions aligned to approved design
Perform unit testing and resolve defects identified during configuration validation phases
Support integration configuration activities including data transformation and platform-side mapping
Maintain technical documentation aligned to project configuration standards
Collaborate with the Business Analyst team to validate configured workflows against approved requirements
Support UAT execution and defect resolution activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – required
Experience with CMDB configuration and Hardware Asset Management module implementation
Proficiency in JavaScript (Glide scripting), Business Rules, Client Scripts and UI Actions
Working knowledge of Service Catalog, SLA framework and workflow automation
Familiarity with ITSM module configuration including Incident, Change and Request Management
Ability to work within structured development standards and governance frameworks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to configuration quality
Preferred / Advantageous
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB relationship modelling
Exposure to ITAM (HAM/SAM) module configuration
Familiarity with Performance Analytics and reporting dashboards
