Job Description

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will manage development responsibilities supporting ServiceNow software solutions. You will be responsible for requirements, design, development, and configuration life cycle management of the ServiceNow platform. You will provide consultation on best practices for support, including ticketing, disaster recovery, license management, digital certificates and keys and support maintenance of the User Accounts, CMDB, Service Catalog, alerts, integrations, and related modules across all ServiceNow environments.


Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications. Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components. Translate system requirements into design specifications. Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production. Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications.
• ServiceNow product knowledge (ITSM, CSM, FSM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps), architecture documentation, systems thinking, ITIL, business process management, workflow design, current state process mapping, future state process mapping • Responsibilities: o Develops the application including configuration, report development and data migration, where applicable o Performs custom development (as required) and 3rd party integrations o Carries out unit-testing and defect resolution o Carries out migration of the changes to production o Assists with technical design and documentation o Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirements

Soft Skills

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
  • Communication skills key! Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate design and configuration choices and bring about consensus.

Education/Certifications:

  • BS degree in Information Technology or another related technical discipline.
