About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Continuity & Resilience Developer with deep hands‑on expertise across BIA architecture, continuity planning, crisis lifecycle engineering, and disaster recovery orchestration. This role is central to designing and deploying enterprise‑grade resilience capabilities within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring operational continuity, structured crisis response, and integrated risk governance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Engine Architecture

  • Build and configure BIA dependency maps, assessment templates, and impact scoring models.
  • Define and operationalize RTO/RPO thresholds across critical business services.

Continuity Plan & Crisis Lifecycle Engineering

  • Develop automated continuity workflows and structured plan templates.
  • Design tabletop exercise frameworks and real‑time execution checklists.

Disaster Recovery (DR) Integration Engine

  • Engineer automated IT asset restoration sequences and backup validation flows.
  • Build failover tracking dashboards and service restoration timelines aligned to CMDB.

Crisis Management Workspace Suite

  • Configure and extend the Crisis Management Workspace for enterprise use.
  • Implement mass notification alerts, scenario‑based event maps, and role‑based coordination consoles.

BCM Risk Framework & Compliance Controls

  • Integrate BCM structures with the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) layer.
  • Develop compliance assessment matrices, internal control gap tracking, and executive resilience dashboards.

Cross‑Platform Resiliency Orchestration

  • Integrate BCM workflows with external alerting systems, vendor risk portals, and third‑party IT tools.
  • Build integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and Mid Server technology.

Role Expectations

  • Architect Resilience Governance: Own technical deployment, database schema design, and workspace configurations for global BCM.
  • Map Infrastructure to Vulnerabilities: Translate business applications and multi‑tier infrastructure into a synchronized resilience blueprint backed by CMDB.
  • Build Threshold & Containment Boundaries: Implement operational risk alert boundaries and crisis guardrails to prevent downtime and communication failures.

Required Experience

  • 6–8 years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in BCM, IRM, DR, and crisis management modules.
  • Proven ability to design enterprise‑scale resilience workflows and integrations.
