Job Description

Koniag Data Services, LLC (KDS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Application Architect to support KDS and our government customer. This position is Remote.

The ServiceNow Application Architect will be responsible for:

  • Architect and Design Solutions: Define and implement ServiceNow architecture standards, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy. Evaluate deployed applications to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Platform Administration: Support administration of the platform including authority-to-operate (ATO), instance patching, upgrades, environment clones and MID server management.
  • Recommend Solutions: Using expert knowledge of platform capabilities, combined with observations of how the client is using the platform, recommend and document solutions for client consideration that align with product entitlements and business objectives.
  • Implement Solutions: Perform hands-on development to deliver solutions spanning both out of the box and custom applications.
  • Grow the ServiceNow Practice: Support business development opportunities with subject matter expertise in the form of solutioning or proposal writing and support fellow practitioners within the ServiceNow Community of Practice.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree and five-plus years of experience in ServiceNow development or equivalent expertise.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Security Operations (SecOps), custom application development, and ServiceNow’s Next UI workspaces.
  • Experience with ServiceNow’s Now Assist and/or Agentic AI capabilities desired.
  • Experience with Now Mobile and/or Mobile Agent desired.
  • Experience with systems integration is expected.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certifications preferred.

  • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Must have experience demonstrating solutions or capabilities to senior leaders.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers.
  • Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
  • Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
