About the Role:

ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson is looking for a driven and experienced Assistant Manager to join our full-time team in Richland, MS. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee operations, inspire a team, help deliver the exceptional cleaning services, forklift and floor scrubbing operations that our clients rely on every day. Responsibilities:

• Manage and work alongside cleaning crew members during scheduled shifts at commercial cleaning sites.
• Mange or perform hands on commercial cleaning duties including: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, floor scrubbing, and forklift operations.
• Ensure that quality control standards are met by inspecting completed work
• Train and guide team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding any site-specific needs, concerns, or special requests
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, reporting shortages or maintenance needs as needed
• Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and operational requirements

Requirements:

• Required management or supervisory experience
• Preferred experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, and forklift operations
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality, consistent results
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings if needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shit's duration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clients
• Valid drivers license
• Reliable transportation

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
