About the Program

The Maryland Service Year Program is a full-time, paid workforce development opportunity designed to help participants gain valuable work experience while supporting their community.

Participants will:

• Work full-time (32-40 hours/week) for approximately 9 months
• Receive hands-on experience within Meritus Health
• Build professional and workplace skills
• Receive mentorship and career development support

Program Highlights

• $15/hour pay
• Paid bi-weekly
• $6,000 completion award upon successful completion of the program
• Professional development and mentorship
• In-person work experience at Meritus Health

• Patient Access / Registration
• Administrative Support
• Operations & Project Support
• Other healthcare support roles
