Introduction

For ASML Technical Support - Warehouse we are seeking for a Service Technician to further strengthen our team. In this role, you will ensure the optimal operation of our automated warehouse systems and intralogistics fleet. As a Service Technician you will be expected to provide industrial Electrical/Mechanical expertise, and you will be part of a team that works to maximize equipment utilization and efficiency. The role will assist in the development and implementation of processes to maintain proper utilization and functionality of equipment and installations.

  • Providing first class maintenance support to the Logistics operation and service on automated storage and retrieval systems, as well as intralogistics fleets within ASML warehouses and cleanrooms.
  • Diagnose and resolve electro-mechanical faults.
  • Analyze operational data to minimize recurring issues and prevent downtime.
  • Ensure minimal disruption of processes and machinery by performing routine and planned inspections and tests.
  • Conduct routine and planned inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Document maintenance activities in accordance with internal and external standards.
  • Respond promptly to alerts and operation messages – carrying out corrective procedures and repairs in line with SLA and maintenance protocols.
  • Coordinate and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, including supplier collaboration.

Education

  • MBO+, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering

Experience

Technical skills:

As Service Technician you will be in frequent contact with both internal and external customers. It is essential that you have good communication skills so you understand and translate the internal operational and suppliers processes.

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to interpret electrical circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and preventive/corrective maintenance.
  • Strong safety awareness and a proactive approach to problem resolution.

Other information

  • The position is part of a 2-shift support schedule including call-out, with future potential for 24x7 operations.
  • Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag’, VOG) and Security Screening Civil Aviation (VGB).
  • The candidate needs to get working and rescue on height certification.
  • Work is partly done in cleanroom (wearing cleanroom suit).

Context of the position

Manufacturing within ASML plans and executes the assembly of NXE, NXT and XT systems, modules, parts for- and installs systems at customers’ site according to quality, cost and time criteria as agreed with our sales department and customers. Within Manufacturing Services, the Tool Center – Technical Support Warehouse team - is responsible for delivering the right quality and performances to support the business.
