Lacox Propane, in Hammond, LA, is looking for a dependable Service Technician to join our team. If you've got mechanical skills, a strong work ethic, and like working outdoors, this might be the perfect fit.
Who We Are: Lacox Propane is a family-owned propane company that's been serving customers for over 70 years We're part of the Ergon family, with 30 locations across 5 states, and a solid track record of taking care of our team.
- Install, maintain, and repair propane systems and appliances which may include working underneath houses, crawlspaces, and confined spaces
- Set tanks, run lines, and perform leak checks
- Work with customers to solve issues and answer questions
- Stay safe and follow all codes and regulations
- Help with deliveries and yard work when needed
- Additional job duties may be assigned by management as needed
Job Requirements:
- CDL with Hazmat & Tanker - or willing to get them
- Clean driving record
- Experience with gas systems or mechanical work preferred
- Clean driving record
- Able to lift 60+lbs and work in all weather
- High School diploma or GED
