The Role

This individual will report to the Manager of Customer Service and will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment at customer facilities. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a customer-focused mindset while supporting field service operations.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to install, position, and commission industrial machinery, including system testing and final acceptance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system issues while responding to field service calls.
  • Manage service schedules and travel while supporting existing customer accounts and resolving technical issues.
  • Build strong customer relationships by identifying improvement opportunities and delivering responsive technical support.
  • Document service activity, manage parts lookups and orders, refurbish equipment as needed, and maintain organized service records.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or repair.
  • Strong troubleshooting expertise with electrical motor controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience working with PLC and HMI control systems, including programming and diagnostics.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in field environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
