PURPOSE & IMPACTThe Tubular Services Technician II performs intermediate-level running and tubular services work by preparing the rig floor, placing and operating conventional casing tools and equipment, validating job and equipment requirements, and supporting casing make-up to required torque. Working with limited supervision on routine assignments, the role helps crews execute casing, completion string, drill pipe, and related tubular service activities safely and efficiently; identifies and documents equipment defects; communicates test results and field conditions; and provides practical guidance to less experienced team members. The position contributes to reliable field execution, equipment readiness, customer service, and compliance with company safety, quality, and operating requirements. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONSThis position works primarily in field and rig environments, including outdoor locations and non-climate-controlled work areas. The role typically works in a moderately noisy environment and involves routine exposure to the elements. The employee may stand and walk for long periods and must be able to walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, communicate, and hear throughout assigned operations. The employee must be able to lift, pull, and push loads of up to 50 pounds unassisted; go up and down stairs; perform repetitive motions; and use close, color, and peripheral vision with the ability to adjust focus. Prolonged or irregular work hours may be required based on operational needs.
