Your Impact
We are looking for a Service Technician who will contribute to the success of the Service Team, applying their expertise in troubleshooting to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative, reliable solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.
The Role
As a Service Technician I, you’ll be addressing our customers' equipment maintenance and repair needs. The position is tasked with assuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient maintenance and repair. The position focus is customer satisfaction and continual improvement in the quality of our products and services.
Job Responsibilities
Calibrating electronic equipment
Developing troubleshooting and repair skills
Supporting customer calibration and maintenance of Particle Measuring Systems' micro contamination monitoring equipment
Researching customer problems and complaints
Acting as a liaison between customers and various departments
Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety

Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Electronics or military equivalent
Ability to read schematics in English
Knowledge of A/C and D/C converters, microprocessors, analog and digital circuits
Knowledge of helium-neon lasers, diode Lasers, and/or collecting and condensing optics is helpful but not required
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Some travel required
Team player focused on customer satisfaction and quality, with a sense of urgency
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role primarily operates in an lab environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $26.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on experience
Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data, including local, national, and industry benchmarks. For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education. Our approach ensures fair pay internally while remaining competitive externally and allows room for growth.
