Technician Responsibilities:
- Complete service and repair assignments efficiently, safely, and correctly.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
- Work and communicate with foreman on vehicle repair status.
- Participate in all required safety meetings.
- When applicable, direct the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed, i.e., unusual problems or questions and explain procedures to assistant.
- Repair vehicles to factory standards.
- Be able to use OEM software to diagnose problems.
- Repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Keep track of warranty parts and turn in required parts for return to the manufacturer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and foremen.
- Complete knowledge of in-house business systems and with business partner platforms.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.

QualificationsTechnician

Qualifications:
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Working knowledge of shop equipment.
- Basic Heavy and Medium Duty Truck knowledge.
- Maintain sufficient personally owned tools.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented and quality driven.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screen.
Experience in one or all of the following areas:
- 2 Year’s Experience
- Tech School Certification
- Vo-Tech Graduate
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
