Job Location Beachwalk Apartments - Chicago, IL 60614 Position Type Full Time Salary Range $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Beachwalk Apartments. Our Service Team plays a key role in creating a well-maintained, welcoming environment for our residents by contributing extensive knowledge and skill to the successful operation of the property. In this role, you will take pride in maintaining our apartment homes, common areas, and grounds with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and asset protection. You will work closely with our Service Manager to help manage expenses within the approved budget, support janitorial efforts, perform preventive maintenance, promote energy conservation, and ensure our residents receive consistently exceptional service. Pay: $20/hr - $25/hr

Qualifications

• At least 3 years prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community
• Must have experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Janitorial Duties
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate using clear, professional English
• Knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies
• Ability to navigate stairs and ladders, lift up to fifty pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime periods and assist at our other residential communities when needed
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work on Saturdays
• Foster harmony in the workplace and promote a positive image of the company
• Responsibilities will include general janitorial duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
