Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manages day-to-day allocation of labor to ensure jobs are taken care of in a timely, complete, and profitable manner.

• Troubleshoot and solve HVAC , hydronic, piping and control problems.

• Follows up with customers for quality assurance purposes and ensures customers are 100% satisfied.

• Acts as the senior technical support for other Service Techs. Can answer most technical questions and help with almost any issue.

• Attends, if needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects. Is well prepared to handle issues that may come up. Fills out all forms, revisions, requests for tools/equipment/material that are required for each project.

• Dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called.

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience/Qualifications Required:

o10 years commercial experience in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.

oStable work history.

oHVAC and brazing license.

oEPA or Universal License.

oType 2 or Universal Refrigerant License.

oHVAC, Hydronic and/or plumbing licenses are a plus.

Job Skills:

oAbility to read blueprints.

oKnowledge of general plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration repair and installation.

oWorking knowledge of all hand and power tools.

oAble to use all specialty tools including Recovery Machine, Multi Meter, Combustion Analysis.

oAble to install equipment.

oVery strong technical background.

oWorks within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity.

oExceptional communication skills.

oAbility to manage, lead, motivate and discipline.

oExcellent organizational skills.

Education:

oHigh School or GED Equivalent.

oTrade School a plus.

Physical Requirements:

oEyesight correctable to 20/50.

oAble to work long hours on feet.

oAble to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds.

oAble to perform shift work.

oMust be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs.

oMust be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

oMust not be afraid of heights.

Special Requirements:

oValid Driver’s License.

oMust provide their own basic hand tools.
