Reporting to the Service Director Northern Europe, the Service Team Leader – Nordics is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a team of 7 Field Service Engineers across Sweden and Norway, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and delivery of service revenue targets, and will be based on-site in Gothenburg, Sweden The role involves travel up to one week per month within Sweden and Norway (nights away from home).

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Organizing and prioritizing your team's daily and weekly work schedules, making sure engineers have the parts, information, and support they need to complete their jobs.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries and escalations, ensuring issues are resolved quickly, and customers are booked in for visits when needed.

  • Reviewing and approving service quotes, ensuring commercial proposals are technically viable before they go to customers.

  • Supporting service sales by identifying opportunities for contract renewals, growth, and training on customer sites.

  • Traveling roughly one week per month to visit customers and the Norway office, staying close to both the team and the business.

  • Tracking service KPIs (On-Time Delivery, First Time Fix Rate, First Time Install Rate) and country-level revenue targets, and coaching your team to hit them.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Significant field service or technical service experience.

  • Strong technical background spanning mechanical and electrical disciplines.

  • Experience with service operations: planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Experience managing service KPIs (e.g., On-Time Delivery, First Time Fix Rate, First Time Install Rate).

  • Working proficiency in English
