Job Description

Campbell Petroleum (a division of MacEwen Petroleum Inc.) is looking for a part-time service station gas attendant. This role provides customer service at our service station located at 3235 Front Road, Hawkesbury, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be required to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. Full training provided.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greeting customers and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Pump gasoline into customer vehicles based on their fuel type selection and the amount of gas requested.
  • Oversee the sale of fuel products.
  • Restock products to shelves, check expiration dates and ensure only intact products are sold.
  • Collect cash payments from customers and make changes, or charge purchases to customers' credit cards and provide customers with receipts using our POS system.
  • Provide customers with their change (if applicable) and a receipt upon purchase.
  • Keep inside and outside of the property clear of garbage and mess (bathroom, floors, windows, exterior, gas pumps, shelves, counter, etc.).
  • At the end of the shift, transfer calls to the Call Center.
  • Provide customers with information about local roads and highways.
  • Other duties as may reasonably be required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Must be 16 years of age and older.
  • Previous customer service experience is required.
  • Able to work independently during the day, evenings, and weekends as required, with minimal supervision.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and French.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and responsible.
  • Willingness to participate in training is essential.
  • Demonstrates a safety-first approach to the role.
  • Do you have reliable transportation to the work location?
