Accountabilities:

    The Service Specialist is responsible for supporting operational teams by managing processes, analyzing information, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration across teams, and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining compliance with operational and regulatory standards.

    • Support business and operations teams by implementing solutions, managing processes, and providing guidance on service-related activities.
    • Respond to internal and external stakeholder inquiries, ensuring accurate, timely, and informed support.
    • Monitor performance, track issues, and contribute to the resolution of operational challenges.
    • Analyze data and business information to provide insights, recommendations, and reporting dashboards.
    • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports by collecting, organizing, and validating information.
    • Support change management initiatives, including process updates, system improvements, and implementation activities.
    • Ensure transactions, activities, and service requests are completed accurately and within established service-level expectations.
    • Review and reconcile documentation and information to maintain data accuracy and completeness.
    • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of enhanced workflows.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and maintain strong working relationships.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, operational risks, and compliance expectations.
    • Support the creation of tools, resources, and training materials to improve team effectiveness.
    • Apply sound judgment and risk awareness when making decisions and resolving operational issues.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has experience in operations, financial services, customer support, or a related environment, with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

      • 3+ years of relevant professional experience combined with post-secondary education in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Strong knowledge of relevant systems, technology tools, and operational processes.
      • Experience working with business products, services, workflows, and quality controls.
      • Understanding of regulatory requirements, operational risks, and compliance practices.
      • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
      • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
      • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
      • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and professional judgment.
      • Ability to learn specialized processes and systems through education and hands-on experience.
