WATER QUALITY PLATFORM

Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat. WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Hach Malaysia Water Quality Platform, a part of the Hach Company, is a leader in manufacturing and distributing analytical instruments and reagents used to test water quality and other liquid solutions. In response to the rapidly expanding reagent in water test business in Malaysia, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Water Quality Malaysia Group as a Service Scheduler. ​

Core Responsibility:

  • Take requests for service on the phone or via email and enters them into Service CMS.

  • Planning for yearly plan of schedule of Field Service Team for Servicing Contract.

  • Assist in stock readiness for Field Service Team.

  • Liaise with customers for commissioning schedule and readiness.

  • Provide safety documentation as it relates to field service activity process service contracts renewals.

  • Act as liaison between customer and field staff to reconcile field service billings.

  • Release Service Orders after entering them into a database so they can be scheduled for maintenance and/or repair.

  • Weekly/Monthly update and report all the data required for the list of field service works including backlog, WIP and forecast.

Skills & Competency Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Management is preferred, but open to any field).

  • Strong planning and pre-planning skill set, with the ability to manage workloads neatly and efficiently.

  • High adaptability for multitasking and a strong sense of urgency toward daily tasks.

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate smoothly with stakeholders and resolve scheduling conflicts or friction under pressure.
