This position reports to:

Service Sales Specialist

As a Service Sales Specialist, you will drive the growth of ABB's service business by developing opportunities within the installed base (IB), promoting lifecycle services, upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions. You will build long-term customer relationships, identify new service opportunities, and deliver profitable growth by expanding ABB's service footprint while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive service sales growth by identifying and developing opportunities within ABB's installed base, promoting lifecycle management solutions, upgrades, retrofits, maintenance services, and the broader service portfolio to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs, translating requirements into ABB service solutions, providing technical and commercial expertise, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive customer engagement, regular site visits, market development activities, lead generation, tender and proposal management, and effective utilization of CRM and installed base databases.
• Collaborate with service, sales, and cross-functional teams to implement service sales strategies, prepare customer-focused offerings, assess commercial risks, and deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions aligned with ABB's standards and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in service sales and proven track record in developing service business opportunities, managing customer accounts, and achieving sales growth targets.
• Prior experience selling medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical products, components, or solutions, preferably within ABB's Electrification portfolio or equivalent offerings from competitors.
• Strong understanding of service agreements, maintenance solutions, upgrades, retrofits, lifecycle management, and value-added service offerings.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage customers at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools, with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction, safety, integrity, and compliance, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective customer solutions.
