The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Service Sales Manager to generate opportunities, secure profitable sales, and deliver exceptional customer value. Your focus will be on Installed Base (IB) penetration and promoting the full-Service Product portfolio in collaboration with other service units. You will play a key role in building long‑term customer relationships, responding quickly to customer needs, and shaping innovative solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and competitive bids with accurate technical and commercial inputs.

  • Drive proactive and reactive sales for High Voltage and Transformer service portfolios.

  • Evaluate client requirements, assess commercial terms, and propose techno‑commercial solutions.

  • Manage the tendering process, pricing strategies, and risk reviews in coordination with the Service Sales Manager.

  • Maintain project pipelines, forecasts, and documentation using Hitachi Energy tools.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, respond promptly to issues, and represent the customer’s voice internally.

  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.

  • Support marketing initiatives, product launches, and customer meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, HSE policies, and quality standards.

  • Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and a disciplined approach to delivering accurate and timely results.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in service sales, estimation, bids, and proposals, with strong customer relationship skills.

  • Proven understanding of Hitachi Energy systems and products.

  • Experience within the Energy sector.

  • Strong commercial, technical, and negotiation capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently with a strategic, results‑oriented approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel across assigned countries as required.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
