Your role and responsibilities

This role will be in ABB industrial Process Automation and Energy Industries, therefore, experience in industrial Process Automation is a Must-have.

As Service Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to ensure successful implementation of the service sales strategy for the assigned area. Each day, you will ensure profitable achievement of qualitative and quantitative targets related to Life Cycle Management (LCM) and service products and solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by determining account and acquisition plans to support growth.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the PAEN in Egypt and the service business year on year growth and profitability, focusing on maximizing Installed Base (IB) penetration, growing service agreement revenue, and building long-term customer relationships through Life Cycle Management (LCM) and value-added service offerings. in North & Central Africa Cluster . Main stakeholders are Installed base customers, Service manager, Segment managers, Sales manger, Operations, bids and proposals .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating, planning, and implementing service sales strategies by increasing the Installed Base (IB) penetration through effective utilization of IB database.
• Participating in negotiations of major contracts to secure service sales volume.
• Ensuring the setting, periodic-review, and achievement of service sales targets by providing cost effective solutions to the customers and initiating improvement plans as needed
• Obtaining feedback on sales development, distributing of resources for service sales activities, and reporting current market status.

Qualifications for the role:

• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in industrial service sales, technical/solution sales, or service and maintenance operations within electrification, automation, oil & gas, power or process industries with at least 5 years in a service sales or sales leadership or team-management role. Is a Must have.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding service sales targets (Service/Care Agreements, LCM, spare parts, retrofits) and of growing an Installed Base through account planning, contract negotiation and key-account relationship management.
• Experience operating across a multi-country cluster in emerging markets is highly preferred, ideally including exposure to Nigeria/West Africa and Francophone Africa.
• Demonstrated experience leading and coaching a sales or technical team is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Industrial Automation.
• Fluent in written and spoken in both Arabic and English.
• Working knowledge of French is strongly preferred, to support business development in Francophone Africa.
