Now, we are launching our newest location in Vernon Hills and seeking a high-caliber Senior Electrician to serve as our lead technical expert in the field.

As a Senior Electrician, you are the backbone of our field operations. You will be responsible for performing and coordinating the installation and service of electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings. You’ll be the bridge between complex electrical problems and the "white-glove" peace of mind our customers deserve.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Master Craftsmanship: Perform expert installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment, ensuring every job meets our "best-in-industry" standards.
• Expert Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions with precision and execute the necessary repairs efficiently.
• The Mister Sparky Experience: Use our "Straight Forward Pricing Guide" to present clear options to clients, perform thorough safety inspections, and maintain a 100% satisfaction rate.
• Field Leadership: As a founding team member, you’ll help refine our field processes and provide feedback to "Mission Control" (Dispatch) to help us scale the business.
• Inventory & Logistics: Ensure your "mobile shop" (the truck) is stocked and ready to minimize downtime.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• The "Pro" Mindset: You value professionalism and punctuality. You understand that "on time" is our brand promise.
• Technical Seasoning: 3+ years of residential electrician experience is required.
• Credentials: Must possess all necessary local and state licenses. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Communication Skills: You can explain complex issues to clients clearly and provide accurate solutions with a "can-do" spirit.
• Reliability: A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check/drug screening are mandatory.
  
  

Compensation & Perks


We believe in rewarding the best talent in Lake County with the best compensation packages in the industry:

• Competitive Pay: $38.00 – $48.00 per hour (Base Rate), depending on experience.
• Earning Potential: Total on-target earnings (OTE) of $110,000+ per year including performance bonuses.
• Sign-On Bonus: We are offering a $2,500 – $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified senior leads.
• Professional Image: Full Mister Sparky uniforms are provided at no cost to you.
• Tech-Forward Tools: A brand-new, fully-stocked take-home electric vehicle, a company-provided tablet for all dispatching, and a $50/month cell phone stipend
