Within SCO, Category Area Transport are responsible to procure, develop and operate all transport capacities in the IKEA supply chain within two categories - Land and Ocean & Air. We develop business together with our service providers in all dimensions, delivering excellent and sustainable performance with our strong business and people agenda. Focusing on automation, and standardisation and digitalization we are not only moving goods from point A to B but also contributing to the IKEA development agenda with efficiency, accuracy and precision in every transport we do.
In Category Land, it is an integral part of Category Area Transport and is responsible for securing and developing optimal land transport capacity at the right cost, in a sustainable way, fulfilling agreed service precision and quality demands, while complying with safety and security requirements. Through this, Category Land contributes directly to the IKEA Vision and Business Idea.
We are now looking for Service Provider Operations Developers (SPOD), who wants to work close to operations and business development, ensuring our land logistics service providers perform at their best, every day.
This role reports to Business Development Manager
Great logistics performance is built through everyday operational excellence and close partnerships.
As SPOD, you help turn plans into reliable execution by supporting service providers to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective land logistics services.

The expected salary range for this role is €50.000 – €55.000 gross annually. This range is based on our internal salary structure and the competence, experience, and knowledge level required for the position. The position will be classified at Level 3 under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Commerce sector.
