For IMA CONFECTIONERY, we are looking for a SERVICE PROJECT MANAGER

IMA Confectionery operates in the design and manufacturing of prototype machines and production lines for processing and packaging applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The Role

The Service Project Manager, reporting to the After-Sales and Spare Parts Department, will be responsible for:

  • Managing the installation and commissioning of machines/production lines at customer sites, coordinating dedicated technical teams (IMA and third-party technicians) and overseeing punch list activities.
  • Providing timely responses to customer requests for technical support, liaising with the relevant internal departments to ensure the most effective solution is identified and implemented as quickly as possible.
  • Preparing service intervention requests and ensuring their closure upon successful completion. When a customer-site intervention requires spare parts supply, coordinating with the Spare Parts Assistant as needed.
  • Opening documentation for the free-of-charge supply of spare parts and service interventions (SO), upon authorization from the Manager, using IT systems such as SAP and CRM.
  • Verifying the closure of outstanding punch list items within the scope of the After-Sales Department’s responsibilities.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar).
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar technical environment, preferably within the machinery manufacturing industry.
  • Previous experience in a comparable role focused on after-sales customer service and support.
  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally for short-term assignments.

  • Previous experience in a similar role focused on after-sales customer support and service.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience using ERP systems such as SAP and CRM platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a customer-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Compensation Package

The gross annual salary will start at €36,000, in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry. A higher compensation package may be offered based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in line with objective and gender-neutral evaluation criteria.
