In this entry-level role, you will support the execution of small service projects and help ensure all activities meet Hitachi Energy policies, contractual requirements, quality standards, health, safety, and environmental expectations, financial targets, and schedule commitments.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will contribute to the delivery of small service projects, ensuring that all work is carried out in line with Hitachi Energy policies, contractual obligations, quality standards, health, safety, and environmental requirements, financial goals, and agreed timelines.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Planning and scheduling: Prepare and maintain a documented project plan that covers scope, financials, schedule, risk management, and HSE requirements.

  • Project execution and control: Ensure projects are delivered in line with execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Track progress, resource utilization, invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow. Keep financial reporting current, maintain project documentation in compliance with company policies, and participate in project, service agreement, and warranty reviews

  • Contract, claims, and procurement management: Apply contract and claims management consistently in line with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual obligations. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure the services, materials, and equipment required for the project from both internal and external suppliers. Support Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims, and project changes as needed.

  • Stakeholder relations: Serve as the main customer contact and escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicate effectively, strengthen long-term customer partnerships, and provide internal feedback to improve products, processes, operations, and services.

  • Health, Safety, and Integrity: Ensure all project activities comply with company health,
    safety, environmental, and integrity policies.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 0–2 years of hands-on experience with project management in high-voltage substation installation, commissioning, or substation services

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Solid understanding of safety protocols, operational methods, and quality assurance in field service environments

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship-building abilities

  • Proactive and methodical thinker with a positive attitude and strong collaborative skills

  • Good in Thai and English.
