Job Description

We are seeking an onshore Service Planner for the preparation and organization of operational activities for the Vineyard Wind Offshore Wind Farm. This role is part of the COR, Continual Operational Readiness team. The Service Planner will be the driving force in our task readiness, ensuring activities are ready to be executed as per our Master Maintenance Plan as well as efficiently reacting to emerging works, reporting to the regional Service Planning Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a solution orientated mindset and a result orientated delivery style. Excellent communication with the wider business and external stakeholders is essential to track and report on progress. You can identify opportunities to improve long term and short term planned activities and discuss with relevant stakeholders. With excellent attention to detail, structure, and organizational skills, you can apply a proactive problem-solving view on preparing Offshore Wind Service activities and take the initiative to deliver efficient outcomes. You have a safety conscious mindset and can build trust and steer by influence to form solid relationships and team ethos. You have a project orientated mindset and understand that good results are achieved in collaboration with internal and external parties.

Providing management and insight into project task readiness that enable high performance service to SQDC targets in collaboration with our customers.

  • Exemplify GE Vernova Ways - Innovation, Customers, Lean, One Team, and Accountable
  • Stand up for the GE Vernova Lean program, introducing and implementing LEAN principles.
  • Translate and execute the yearly planning made by the Site Operations team into a rotation plan, tracking site activities, evaluating planned technicians, planned service schedules, requisitions, documentation requirements and availability.
  • Be able to manage the task readiness of the short-term plan, so everything is prepared aligned to be deployed on the assigned shift rotations.
  • Order, track, and report on parts/tools/materials as per our procurement process to ensure alignment with our planned work.
  • Own and develop the availability forecasting tool and facilitate management of change to rectify deviations from expectations.
  • Align future preventative and corrective rotation planning demand from the Site Operations team, managing and mitigating potential deviations to SQDC targets.
  • Define the monthly corrective and preventative maintenance planning considering weather forecast, transportation, resources, and contractual obligations.
  • Identify and communicate planning recovery actions in case of deviation to the management team.
  • Develop the data processes for the back office to facilitate a lean workflow of information and controls for operational data.
  • Grow the continual improvement culture within your area of responsibility, ensuring that high quality knowledge is retained and improved, facilitating feedback to required stakeholders across the business.
  • Support the development and continual improvement of Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Aid in the development of all planning systems and processes as required to deliver Offshore Wind Maintenances.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a maintenance role.)
  • Extensive professional experience in procurement systems and driving task readiness through project management.
  • Experience with reading maintenance schedules, scheduling, and scheduling software
  • Experience with a CMMS program.
  • Experience of renewable operations or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
