Job Description

About the role

You play a key role in preparing and organising operational activities for the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm. From the Port of Tyne base, you help make sure offshore work is ready to be delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the Master Maintenance Plan, while also responding effectively to emerging priorities.
In this role, you bring structure, clarity, and momentum to task readiness. You work closely with operational teams, supply chain colleagues, customers, and external partners to turn plans into action. Your work helps enable strong performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while supporting reliable service operations offshore.

This is a permanent role based in the United Kingdom, with a 2-week offshore rotation working arrangement.

What you’ll do

You help create the conditions for safe, well-prepared, and efficient offshore service delivery. You:

  • Develop and maintain long-term maintenance plans for both planned and corrective work offshore
  • Translate annual operational plans into detailed rotation schedules, including technician forecasting, service scheduling, and readiness tracking
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure parts, tools, equipment, and logistics are in place for offshore campaigns
  • Own and improve forecasting processes and planning tools to support proactive decision-making and operational readiness
  • Work with site operations teams to align maintenance plans with resource, logistics, and material availability
  • Build monthly demand plans that consider weather, transport, resource constraints, and contractual commitments
  • Track progress of work and provide clear updates to the wider business and key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve short-term and long-term planning and help turn those ideas into practical solutions
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of planning processes and standard ways of working
  • Help create a culture of collaboration, consistency, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

What you bring

You are organised, proactive, and solution-focused. You enjoy bringing people together to solve problems, improve readiness, and keep work moving. You communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and stay focused on delivering results in a structured and practical way.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong experience in operational or maintenance planning, including preparing work for safe and efficient execution
  • Experience coordinating complex activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Confidence using planning tools such as Microsoft Project or similar software
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and cloud-based digital tools
  • The ability to analyse information, manage competing priorities, and solve problems in a structured way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners
  • A strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Experience in renewable energy is welcome, but not essential. If you bring relevant planning experience from another operational or maintenance environment, we encourage you to apply.

Why join us

You have the opportunity to contribute to one of the most significant offshore wind projects in the United Kingdom. Your work directly supports the safe and reliable operation of a major renewable energy asset and helps deliver cleaner energy for the future.

You join a team that values collaboration, practical problem-solving, and continuous improvement. In return, you gain the chance to make a visible impact in a role where your planning, coordination, and communication skills truly matter.

Location and working pattern

This role is based at the Dogger Bank Operations and Maintenance Base at the Port of Tyne, United Kingdom.

This is a permanent position with a 2-week offshore rotation working arrangement. Occasional national and international travel may also be required.

Ready to apply?

If you are motivated by planning complex operations, improving task readiness, and helping offshore teams succeed, we’d like to hear from you.
