
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, Statistics, Geography, Decision Science, Business Administration or a related field is required Two years of progressively responsible experience performing a wide range of transportation planning projects is required Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, for the development of service plans and service evaluation is required. Demonstrated ability to express oneself through written and oral communication and to conduct research and present findings in a comprehensive and clear format, problem solving skills, and computer literacy are required. Experience with Esri GIS platforms for map creation is also required. In lieu of degree, year-for-year experience may be substituted.
INTERVIEW SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process may include one or more components to demonstrate applicants’ knowledge, skills and abilities in job-related areas. These may include exercises such as practical demonstrations, written communications, oral interview and/or competency assessments.

Supports and contributes to the development of service plans, designs, and policies. Monitors and assesses performance of fixed-route bus service. Coordinates with Scheduling and various units to maintain and improve the integrity of bus service and schedules. Analyzes requested and suggested potential service changes, including the use of new transit technologies. Is involved in planning short term and long-term business objectives and initiatives.
