Your journey here is not just about a job; it's about a shared vision for a brighter, more sustainable future.

We’re currently looking for a Service Operations Manager in Norway.

This role reports to the Nordic Service Operations Manager and focuses on leading and developing our local service operations team.

You would be working closely with a group of Service Administrators, Service Coordinators, and Field Service Engineers, supporting our UPS and Medium Voltage service activities—from service agreements and installations to commissioning and repairs.

What makes this role particularly interesting is its broader impact. It’s not just about managing day-to-day operations, but about shaping and strengthening the service organization, driving performance in line with our profit plan, and embedding the Eaton Business System alongside our strong Zero Safety Culture.

You would also play an active role within the Nordics cluster, collaborating with regional colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement and alignment across the business.

The position is opened for our office in Oslo, Norway, with up to 10% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with MESH (Management System of Environment, Safety, Security and Health), Eaton’s Zero Incident Safety Culture, as well as national guidelines and procedures.
  • Lead and manage the Field Service Engineering teams, ensuring efficient utilization of the engineering workforce, compliance with EHS regulations, and effective delivery of field audits, training, and development initiatives.
  • Develop, inspire, and motivate the team in line with Eaton Culture Model (ECM) to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive operational standardization across the country, including continuous improvements in field engineering, back-office functions, and service coordination within the cluster and the Business Service Center.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for customer, technical, and operational issues, coordinating with factories, technical teams, and EMEA Services to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Facilitate, where applicable, the implementation and enhancement of Field Service systems.
  • Contribute to the EMEA Service Strategic Plan, supporting growth and sustained profitability in line with Eaton’s overall strategic goals, with a particular focus on productivity.
  • Define performance metrics and analyse data to drive performance improvement and productivity across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Central Service Operations Manager on standards implementation, as well as identifying and sharing best practices and new standards.
  • Work closely with other operational teams within the country to identify and implement synergies.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in team leadership and/or operational management
  • Solid knowledge of field engineering services, preferably within electrical services and UPS systems
  • Basic IT skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a service team, including remote team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized with strong time management skills

What we offer:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team
