Job Description

As a Service Officer, you will be the front-line representative of the bank, interacting with customers and ensuring a positive and efficient banking experience. Your role is crucial in maintaining the bank's reputation and customer loyalty. You will be responsible for handling a range of transactions, from cash deposits and withdrawals to promoting the bank's products and services.
  • Handle day-to-day cash and non-cash transactions with precision and accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Promote and cross-sell banking products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and maintain high standards of operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to bank policies and procedures.
  • Process loan applications and provide assistance to customers throughout the loan process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and efficient branch operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest banking products and services to offer informed advice to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions and customer interactions.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using banking software and systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactions with efficiency.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and a dynamic work environment.
