We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer (P2 Level) with strong hands-on experience in platform development and integrations. The ideal candidate will have expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, Service Portal, SPM, SSO, Custom Applications, MID Server, and Flow Designer, along with deep knowledge of REST-based integrations

This role requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to deliver scalable solutions, and a proactive approach to automation and platform optimization within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform aligned with business requirements.
  • Provide hands-on development across modules such as ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, Service Portal, SPM, and Custom Applications.
  • Build and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using REST APIs, JSON, Scripted REST APIs, and IntegrationHub.
  • Configure and manage SSO (Single Sign-On) integrations with external identity providers (e.g., Azure AD).
  • Work with MID Server for integrations, discovery, and orchestration use cases.
  • Develop and optimize solutions using Flow Designer, workflows, and automation capabilities.
  • Customize forms, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and Service Portal widgets.
  • Maintain and enhance CMDB data quality and support ITOM capabilities like Discovery and Service Mapping.
  • Develop and deploy custom applications using best practices and scoped application architecture.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, provide L2/L3 support, and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, release management, and platform upgrades

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Request Management)
    • CMDB & Asset Management fundamentals
    • ITOM (Discovery / Service Mapping – working knowledge preferred)
    • Service Portal development (widgets, pages, UI customization)
    • SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management basics)
    • Flow Designer and workflow automation
    • Custom Application development (Scoped Apps)
  • Strong experience with:
    • SSO integration (SAML/OAuth, Azure AD preferred)
    • MID Server setup and maintenance
  • Very strong expertise in integrations:
    • REST APIs (Inbound & Outbound)
    • JSON/XML handling
    • Scripted REST APIs
    • IntegrationHub spokes
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, Glide APIs, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) – Mandatory
  • ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer) – Preferred
  • Certifications or exposure in CIS-ITSM/CIS-ITOM /CIS-SPM modules
